I should probably pretend that this is a hard decision, but it's not. YOU THINK THAT MAYBE WE SHOULD TAKE DANNY TO A HOSPITAL? Every line in The Shining is quotable.

Both are psychological drama with a bit touch from other genre. But I think The Shining has better acting performances, cinematography, and style
Two master directors at the top of their game right here. I like Scorsese a bit better than Kubrick and though I do like Nicholson, he's got nothing on De Niro. The edge goes to Taxi Driver.

The plot in Taxi Driver isn't that great. You're just trying to find out what this guy's all about. The Shining, however, is an enigma.

Taxi Driver is a fantastic, fascinating, and meaningful film. But it just barely loses out to the greatest horror film of all time. The Shining by a whisker.

this is really tough and I have seen the shining more but I will go with taxi driver
