House at the End of the Street seemed like a waste of the talents of Jennifer Lawrence and Elisabeth Shue. Totally run of the mill TV movie thriller stuff. The Canyons just seemed like a waste of time altogether. Not even entertainingly bad. At least House had some decent acting and star charisma. Lohan brought little to The Canyons.

In terms of production values, writing, and content, House at the End of the Street is very nearly something you'd see on basic cable (remember, Jennifer Lawrence had not yet conquered the galaxy when this came out). The Canyons isn't actually good, but it is somewhat better in conception and execution. Not to mention Lindsay Lohan's boobies.
