I've never been terribly in love with the end of either movie. I'm picking "Batman Begins" because I've cared for the character a lot longer than I've liked Indy.

Almost 300 days ago, I picked "Batman Begins." Tonight I'm in an Indy state of mind so I'm picking "Raiders." I flip-flopped. So what?
Batman Begins is a well made film but Raiders is a classic and probably the definitive action film so I'm going with that without a second thought. If it had been The Dark Knight up rather than Begins I'd have found it a lot harder to choose.

This is difficult. Neither of the two is my favorite from their respective franchises. I much prefer The Dark Knight and Temple of Doom. I love the Blade Runner feel of Begins. Nolan made a memorable Batman origin story, one that is deep and highly entertaining. I do not like the third acts of either of them. They felt a bit rushed and not exactly in sync with the atmosphere of the rest of the movie. I guess I'll choose Begins.
Indy just smashes Begins. No contest...

Raiders by a factor of about a hundred. Nothing to even think about here.
One is pretty good, the other is a classic. Raiders of the Lost Ark, baby.

Frankly, I find both of these movies to be terribly overrated. However, Batman Begins is the one with somewhat exciting action and therefore, it wins.
Raiders of the Lost Ark. Better filmed action, more likeable hero, no awkward cheese (like in Batman Begins), more exciting, and holy crap that opening of the ark scene. This is not even a contest.
In two such high quality films, inthis case, it all comes down to which character you prefer. Personally, I find Bruce's journey to be filled with greater depth, heart, and soul, and simply connected with him in a way I've never connected with Indy.
The Ark. Batman Begins is awesome, but it doesn't measure up to Indiana.
