I'm a big fan of Batman Begins and still insist it's way better then the Dark Knight, however Blade Runner is a top 10 for me.

Batman Begins was awful. Dark Knight wasn't great.

Although one inspired the other, I feel that Batman Begins gave me a more emotional connection to the protagonist. So, Batman Begins.

Although Batman Begins would lead to the phenomenal Dark Knight, I feel that it wasn't quite as entertaining as Harrison Ford in Blade Runner.

Sorry, folks, but Blade Runner infuriated me with how boring it was. Batman Begins all the way.
Blade Runner does improve a bit upon repeat viewings, but I still agree with NealOliver23 that it is a bit of a snoozer. Batman Begins is no masterpiece, but it is more than entertaining enough to win here...

Both of them have a similar environment, the dark, dirty, creepy and dystopian cities; Blade Runner is the better film though. Henri Deckard has become a quintessential figure in science fiction cinema.
