Classic Japanese cinema match-up right here. As of now, it's "Ikiru" all the way which is right near the top of not only my favourite Kurosawa movies but favourite movies in general. "Sansho the Bailiff" I enjoyed a lot and it needs a re-watch but for now, I definitely far prefer "Ikiru". Takashi Shimura's performance of the dying Watanabe is excellent.
