"Eclipse" has a much better sense of pacing, though "New Moon" has that nice sequence where Bella freaks out and becomes self-destructive that's somewhat interesting. Both could use more charisma and action, less moping and staring.
In the Twilight series each one is better than its predecessor. Edward and Bella are what I call dopey dismals. I can't care for them because they are so lackluster. Bella freaking out in New Moon was interesting but it also made me want to punch her in her vacant staring face.

both are absolutely awful. anything to do with twilight is awful.

Essentially the same movie, at least Eclipse had some decent action scenes.
