Girl in Gold Boots is pretty good when it's actually about the girl in gold boots. Toward the end it becomes a crime flick, which isn't as interesting as women in bikinis dancing. Death Carries a Cane held my attention mostly, for reasons that I'm not entirely sure of. Maybe because it seemed kind of random, so my attention span was kept busy. I've noticed that I generally don't care who the killer is in these Giallo movies. I'm more entertained by the style, sleaze and weirdness that comes with the genre. Death Carries a Cane probably isn't even that good as a mystery or thriller. Que sera, sera. I'll give this one to the Italians.
