This is really damn close! Both are incredible. I'm going to have to go with Gone Girl for now though.

The Departed wins. No contest.

Gone girl was good. Departed was better.
I have to say I've changed my mind on this one. After watching Gone Girl a few more times I like it more than The Departed which is still a great film.
