Two very great movies for both of their time periods, while Social Network has perfect dialogue, Empire is perfect in its entirety.

Social Network has already become a modern classic. The kids these days can connect to as much as the kids back in the day could connect to Empire. Both are entirely revolutionary. Since I grew up more so in this generation, the Facebook flick gets my pick.

While I'm certainly a big fan of The Social Network, there's no way I can choose it over The Empire Strikes Back.

this was a hard choice. i decided to go with empire just because its an original story, whereas social network fictionalises and bends the truth (as awesome as the end product of a film is )

Granted sci-fi is not one of my favorite genres, the Social Network wins for me. The dialogue and character development is spot on. It keeps you interested the whole film.

This one tears me up! I always regret not picking The Social Network, but Empire will always be a classic
