The final episode of LotR also beats Indy... sorry.
I'd take Last Crusade over Return of the King (Sean Connery tips the scales, sorry), but not Raiders. Neither beats Fellowship.

Raiders is a nearly flawless movie. Return of the King is great, but not close to perfect.

Both films together with the first X-Men, are becoming mainstream, unhappily. Loved The Return of the King, but it can't top with awesomeness of Raiders. Now, really: if you being costumed of Indy, or Frodo, or even a Marvel/DC superhero, and you're a "geek", idk the meaning of the word. Really, i'm rarely not see any boy with a Jurassic Park or a master Yoda t-shirt.

Return of the King is messy by the standards of its own series ... up against Raiders, which is just about note perfect? No contest.

Lord of The Rings can never beat the sheer awesomeness that is Raiders of The Lost Ark.
I'd honestly take every LOTR movie over Raiders, which I still find awesome
