The 3rd Peter Jackson LotR versus the 3rd Sam Raimi approach to the Marvel franchise Spider-Man. Overall I prefer Raimi to Jackson, and I won't watch LotR again cuz it's about guys running for six hours it's a very linear plot whereas Spider-Man's worth watching again and again but with Peter Parker going bad & the Sandman being a failed attempt at pulling my heart strings, Spidey 3 is the worst of that franchise, whereas Return of the King has some great battle scenes.. but way too many endings. Aargh. This is tough.

Lord of the Rings by far. The entire Spidey series was ho-hum and 3 was awful.
