Oof! I loved the production design on both of these. More impressed by "Moulin Rouge," but Chicago is very dear to me. Jose Ferrer's performance as Toulouse was terrifically charming and tragic, a cut above anything in "The Blues Brothers." On the other hand, they were on a mission from God. How does one vote against that?
