Chamber of secrets is probably the best adaptation of the books but goblet is my favourite book and the movie does an ok job of adapting it.

The second movie was my favorite a long time ago, but after rewatching it a few months ago, it really failed on me. Long, boring and dragging. Neither liked the fourth one, but that one is more entertaining in my opinion.

Having only seen the first four Potter movies, and not knowing the books (the first is the only one I've read), I much prefer both Goblet and Azkaban to the first two. This is an easy choice, but Azkaban is the best of the four.

I agree with jetsilveravenger regarding Order of the Phoenix. It was a pretty good film adaption and it's my favorite book. I still think Prisoner of Azkaban is the best adaption (from the 5 I've seen). Chamber of Secrets doesn't hold up too well, but is better than Sorcerer's Stone.
