Two fantastic films. Due to sheer volume of pop culture influence, Star Wars gets the nod.

Okay, now how is this a fair comparison? I guess it has to be Star Wars, but talk about different genres...

This is a hard choice due to 1 film being an all time classic comedy and the other being an amalgamation of the Hero's Journey. The thing that keeps Star Wars, I feel, from beating Ghostbusters is that Ghostbusters is more compact and able to tell a more complete story than Star Wars (for obvious reasons).

Star Wars for me. Much more entertaining and revolutionary. Also it shaped my childhood entertainment.
