Ooh, tough one.

'Fargo' is my favorite Coen brothers film. But even that cannot beat a Tarantino film. (except, maybe, Death Proof)

In my mind, the Coens are the undisputed kings of dark comedy. Tarantino is one of the most irreverent filmmakers alive, but he is completely out-matched by the Coens' artistry.

fargo does not live to the hype for me, pulp does

Love the Coens, but Fargo doesn't beat Pulp Fiction. See The Man Who Wasn't There or Miller's Crossing for two that do.

While I love both films, Pulp Fiction completely changed the way I looked at movies.

It's gold vs. gold, but I'll give the slight edge to Fargo because it hits on a deeper emotional level at the end of the day.

I actually don't get the love over Fargo, It is really uninteresting and dull. But Pulp Fiction is a freaking masterpiece

Two very similar movies. But I enjoyed Fargo a little bit more, for some reason.

Fargo's overrated, with nasty characters and few actual moments of comedy or pathos that work. Also, for a Coen film, I found it disappointingly predictable. Pulp Fiction remains as fresh today as when I first saw it, with vastly more interesting characters, a complex and kinetic plot, and much better dialogue. Give me Tarantino's masterpiece any day.

tough call...but based on which I could sit down and watch more often...Pulp Fiction wins on the entertaining level.

The Coens are good, but I say QT is the more important filmmaker; maybe of the generation. And yeah, Pulp Fiction annihilates Fargo

Pulp Fiction by far.

I love both of these movies for their snappy and smart dialogue. Pulp is at the top of my chart for a reason though.

Pulp Fiction isn't usually my type of movie but i don't know Quentin Tarantino just has the deck stacked here good actors , good script , good directing style that i couldn't just help but freaking love this movie! Well on the other hand if you put up another Coen Brothers movie it might have won on this but Fargo isn't the best Coen brothers movie to me so this one is pulp fiction by a landslide

Both are just great, but I'm down with the majority. Pulp wins...

You betcha, don't ya know i'm picking Fargo.

Pulp Fiction gets the nod for me. Samuel L Jackson carries everyone through in style.
