This isn't even close for me. The Matrix executes every department in stellar fashion: from action, story, FX, soundtrack, characters and editing; Rocky is a good little tale of an underdog taking on the best of his profession, The Matrix is a gothic sci-fi remix of Jesus.
The Matrix crushes. Rocky is a great underdog tale, but nothing that can compare to the genius of The Matrix.
