This is very tough for me. I think I recognize the greatness of The Silence of the Lambs, but I think I feel it in City of God and I love that.

City of God is the better movie here.

City of God. Gangster classic.

City of God is much more entertaining and thrilling than Silence.
The Silence of the Lambs is much better than City of God IMO, though both are top-notch pictures in their respective genres.
