Suprised no one has ranked this yet. I personally found the new one a little better
Neither capture the greatness of the first 3 seasons of the tv show but I agree the latest one was better.

I watched both for the first time tonight. I confess that I didn't watch much Spongebob growing up so it surprised me how much I enjoyed the first one. Sponge Out Of Water was completely inferior however
