Kick-Ass vs. Diggstown

There is a lot of ass-kicking in Diggstown. As a boxer, Louis Gossett Jr pummels opponent after opponent senseless, and takes quite a licking himself. The beatings come fast and furious, and it's quite a rousing show. Kick-Ass, though... there's something extraordinarily awesome about seeing an 11 year-old girl hack, slash and shoot her way through an army of thugs. This shit is poetry. While not all of Kick-Ass is equally as thrilling, the movie admirably goes the equal opportunity route with the ass-kicking. Good guys, bad guys, 11 year-old girls, Nicholas Cage... everybody takes an ass-kicking.
