Surely the highest kind of heresy to select Galaxy Quest over Vertigo? The latter is Hitchcock's most adult movie, with so many layers of meaning, but I'm not up to decoding all of them just yet. Plus, it has always suffered in comparison to my favourite Hitchcock movies (North by Northwest and Rear Window), simply because they are faster-paced. In the meantime, Galaxy Quest never fails to delight. I've been catching bits of it a lot recently, and it's probably my favourite comedy of the past few years a) because it'ss funny, and b) because it actually moves me. GQ FTW.

Galaxy Quest is such an underrated comedy. But Vertigo....Oh God, my braaaiiin!
