The Matrix Revolutions vs. Disturbia

Looking back on the Matrix series, it's super nerdy. Hardcore. The Matrix just doesn't have that action feeling to me anymore.

Disturbia was terribly boring. Matrix wins automatically.

If I watch Disturbia again I might murder Shia Lebouf... I don't think I could stand it a third time. Maybe I could watch Matrix 3 again, but I don't feel like it. I didn't like it. But meh, whatever, let's give it to Matrix here, just because it was an improvement over Reloaded.

Shia Lebouf in a Rear Window wannabe can't win here.

I imagine I might feel differently if I'd actually seen Rear Window. I thought Disturbia was an effective, if predictable, little thriller, and I have a soft spot for David Morse. And while I don't hate the Matrix sequels as much as many, Revolutions is not an improvement over Reloaded (the freeway chase puts that battle in favor of the second film); it is the weakest of the trilogy, for sure.
