Oh, man. What a choice. The best Burton batman versus the batman movie that made batman not suck again? Not fair at all, flickchart. ...Begins, I guess.

Not a tough choice due to the cartoony tone of the Devito/Penguin performance. Weighed against the Liam Neeson performance this one is a clear choice Begins wins

Honestly, it's been too long since I've seen Returns; I'm dying to see it again. But I adore Begins; what a great setup for The Dark Knight.

love a Batman vs. Batman matchup... struggle with this one b/c of the imperfections within Batman Begins and the cheesiness of Batman Returns. The neutralize each other. Going with the former...

The only thing I like about "Returns" was Michelle Pfeiffer's Selena/Catwoman. "Begins" starts off strong, but the end has never made sense to me. Why doesn't the vaporizing weapon suck the moisture out of all the people within its range?

Batman Returns! The ultra-serious and bland Batman Begins pales in comparison from Bale's annoying tough man voice to Katie Holmes' equally annoying love interest. Seriously, it took me three attempts just to finish it. Nolan did MUCH better with his follow-up, that's for sure.

Batman Begins had too many flaws most overlook simply because it followed the awful Batman & Robin. I vote Returns because of Michelle Pfeiffer.

I think batman begins was much darker and fit for the batman story than the cartoonist look of batman returns. I liked michele's performance in Returns, but overall batman begins is much better.

Batman returns. Batman begins was decent but it just didnt do it for me. Batman returns is the best of the 4 original batman movies

Returns was awful. Atrocious, laughable back-stories for the villains and leaps of logic out the wazoo. Batman Begins wins in a landslide.
