Dark Phoenix is ten times the better movie. Seriously, rumors Marvel interfered with Dark Phoenix due to certain similarities is ironic given Dark Phoenix is that much the better effort. Forget the box office and forget the Disney paid for hype, this last installment for the X-Men ended things nicely.
No question X-Men Dark Phoenix is better than Captain Marvel. Better action. Better writing. Certainly a better cast. You actually care about the X-Men characters. Captain Marvel is the bottom of the MCU barrel maybe even outside of the barrel.

Yeah, this isn’t even close. X-Men stomps pretty hard here, but Captain Marvel was fun af, just not as well done as Dark Phoenix was.

Captain Marvel might be mediocre, but when compared to Dark Phoenix it looks like Logan, which is where the X-Men franchise should've ended. Like seriously, Dark Phoenix is so close to being worse than X-Men Origins.
