Everyting past the first Matrix is a turd on a stick. Home Alone is a classic.
What do you mean "first Matrix"? They only ever made one.

The original Matrix was my first introduction to metaphysical concepts like the nature of reality and, along with blending sci-fi and martial arts (two of my favorite genres) in a way I'd never seen, it ranks my all-time favorite. By the third, the originality had worn off and it was just a pretty decent action movie with an unsatisfying ending. Home Alone is a Christmas tradition around here so it gets the win easily.
