Exactly! It would be like the Academy picking 2012 over Up or something insane like that.....
I don't mind I Am Legend - not a fan of Pulp Fiction though - over-rated!
While I did enjoy "I am legend", I do wish that the vampire/zombie creatures had been done with real actors in makeup instead of CG. That being said, "Pulp Fiction" is one of the most energetic, entertaining, and re-watchable movies I've ever seen. "Pulp Fiction" wins this one.

I Am Legend - better than the book and way better than Pulp Fiction.
