I really like the Thing but Kill Bill has two key elements that make it the more entertaining movie. First, from the time Beatrix breaks out of the coffin to her walk in the desert is one of my favorite cinema musical moments, ending with her looking down at the Bud's trailer. It's movie magic to me. Then there's Carradine's portrayal of Bill. I especially like Bill's conversation with his brother, and how he says O-Ren named her clan the Crazy 88s because "it sounded cool." Carradine phrases everything beautifully. Nothing in terms of writing and acting comes even close in The Thing. KILL BILL VOL. 2 WINNNNSSSS
