I liked Zombie but Cannibal is just an all time classic.

Zombie _Holocaust_, rather. Not the entertaining and gory one simply called "Zombie", but the uneventful and regret-inducing one with the misleadingly awesome title. Anyway, the more my life ticks away, the less I have time to revisit something like Cannibal Holocaust. I watched the audio commentary by the director and some actor like a year ago and it was pretty much exactly what I expected. The actor's embarrassment was palpable, and Deodato, while not as self-conscious, just sounded... negative. Equal parts bored and spiteful. It's weird when you want to get out of a room you're not even in.
