both really good movies but who would win in a best villian contest: Capt. Dudley Smith vs. Anton Chigurh? Dudley would just try to like bust in to like Anton's motel room with like 50 dudes with him, but Anton would like bust a hole in the room next to him and come behind them with a silenced Remington shotgun and blow everyone to pieces. no country wins

A contest between Chigurh and Bud White would be more interesting. Oh and both films are masterpieces in case you were wondering.
Over the past couple of weeks, L.A. Confidential has grown on me. I think it is a masterpiece of crime films and it is victorious in this matchup. No Country For Old Men comes pretty close.
