It seems like Will Smith earned his way into stardom with roles like Men in Black but abused it in crap like Hitch.

I say men in Black because I like Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Hitch was good too but Men in Black was better.

One of the best Will Smith movies vs one of the worst.
Men in Black was a well above-average blockbuster that made Will Smith a star. It outdoes Hitch on every level.
