Hard one ! I will go for Usual Suspects because 1) it impacted me more when I saw it (younger..) 2) For Kevin Spacey's performance

Memento. A tighter script IMO, an underrated cult classic that is better than Inception.
How do I pick? Both are among my top 80...and I'm sure their rankings will change over time. Fate will decide...

Epic matchup! 2 of my top 5! In fact, I deliberately sought out this particular matchup just to see what others had to say. Both have great twists in the end. I think Memento's twist was more unexpected though. I always suspected Verbal from the get-go, but that was just too in-your-face to the answer to the riddle. But as it turns out, that's really the genius of The Usual Suspects. The answer is always in your face and you refuse to go with it because it just seems too easy to guess. I like Memento's structure too. These are two of my favorite of all time, not just based on experts... these are two movies that I personally watch routinely. I must say though that Memento's rewatchability tops The Usual Suspects'. Every time I watch Memento, I see something new. I've seen it 3 times total. So, as much as it hurts me to decide between these two, I'm gonna have to go with Memento for it's complexity and intricacy.
