Sorry, but indie, even really quite solid indie, cannot compare to pretty much anything that deatures Kevin Spacey.

Usual Suspects is brilliant but anything with a Baldwin brother in it couldn't possibly hope to beat Garden State. That actually has nothing to do with my decision, Garden State is just a better film.

Yeah, Gardan State is that kind of movie you don't want to vote against. But I'll have to go with The Usual Suspects here without to much doubt.
Usual Suspects in a landslide. The directing and acting is far superior and much more focused.

Maybe if I watch Garden State again, I MIGHT change my mind, but I don't see that happening. GS is a good movie, but I don't think it's a great movie. The Usual Suspects is a great movie.
