Memoirs of an Invisible Man vs. Twilight

I think the invisible man sparkled in the rain, are invisible men suppose to do that? I never really understood the whole vampires don't sparkle in the sun thing since vampires can do whatever their creator wants them to do since vampires kind of don't exist and even if they did, it still wouldn't matter because fictional characters are still fictional. Either way, I'd rather watch Memoirs of an Invisible Man though, so whatever.
