Though Some Like It Hot is certainly funny and light, there are very few laugh-out-loud jokes, which rather surprised me for a film called the funniest movie of all time. A Shot in the Dark is much funnier, and features many laugh-out-loud jokes, and even has some moments where you'll have trouble breathing, it's so funny. Some Like it Hot is an above average comedy, but A Shot in the Dark is one of the funniest films I've ever seen...the winner is obvious.
