Lightning did not strike twice for Julie Christie and Warren Beatty. I saw McCabe & Mrs. Miller first, and it became a personal favorite after only a short time. I watched Shampoo expecting to find some of the same magic, but I only encountered boredom. Without McCabe
What the hell?!!! My comments got cut off again with a McCabe & Mrs. Miller matchup. What's the deal?

Shampoo is a sharp sexy satire. It is so sixties. McCabe just didn't leave as big an impression.
