Chinatown vs. A Clockwork Orange

Chinatown is a more defining 70's flick.

There are instances where I won't choose Kubrick over another director. This isn't one of those instances.

Clockwork by far.

I love both, but Clockwork is more special to me

Such a difficult decision. Two masterpieces from the 70s. Both are in my top 20. I'm going to give it to Chinatown only because I have seen A Clockwork Orange so many times that I have worn it off a bit. However, Chinatown remains fresh to me and gets better every time. Could go either way, though.

Chinatown is great, but Clockwork Orange is in my top 20. So I'm going with Kubrick's film.

Clockwork is the more provocative film, making it the clear winner for me.

I've changed my mind. A Clockwork Orange is slightly superior

Both are amazing and very powerful movies, but A Clockwork Orange really amazed me and I fell in love with that movie. It took a while for me to eventually fall in love with Chinatown but it's also a great movie. I gotta give it to A Clockwork Orange, one of Kubrick's best.

A Clockwork Orange, love both but Kubrick>Polanski

I enjoy Chinatown more, but A Clockwork Orange is a film in its own world. That is hard to beat.

ACO....
