A classic masterpiece vs a modern one. Giving the edge to Whiplash for now.

The Shining is the stunner here. Whiplash is a favorite as well.
Two of my all time favourite movies. Whiplash being a great character study with fantastic acting and The Shining being one of the most well put together and complex movies in history. Kubrick for me!

The Shining did more for me. It's what got me interested in horror movies and for good reason. Perfect horror movie.
