As cool as the new "Trek" was, I was really impressed by "Sunshine". It ripped off just about every sci-fi movie ever made, but it did it with great style and had my pulse pounding for the entire second hour. Sensational.

I really want to give it to 'Sunshine' on one hand, but the 'Trek' reboot nailed the feel and everyone seemed like they really WERE younger verisons of the original crew.

I really, really liked Sunshine. But I'm a Trekkie at heart, which makes this decision unfair. (As a side note: I love when the brown bar says "The future is in your hands" with a choice like this....)

Sunshine was amazing and I still think about it a lot. JJ Abrams' Star Trek surprised me and I really like it, but Sunshine was just . . . special.
