Call Me by Your Name vs. Brokeback Mountain

Brokeback Mountain is as bland as all hell. It bored me to bloody tears. I might even like Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal acting, but blergh. Call Me by Your Name might not be for everyone. I understand very clearly if someone doesn't like it. But I've related to it myself. I think it's really greatly developed, and I love how it's happening naturally. It's not foccusing on being a gay love story, it's happening naturally as all love stories. And I guess it brought up some memories. I could connect a movie scene with something that actually happened in my life and that's truly special.
