Not even a contest. Thor is 100 times the better film and is everything Green Lantern tried to be but failed at miserably. GL is a poorly written and asinine collection of computer graphics and insane dialogue that's just a disgrace to the fresh and revolutionary source material. Thor, however is superbly acted, well written and exceptional in most every way.

Green Lantern was an utter misfire. I can forgive a movie for being stupid as long as it entertains (Transformers would fall into this category), but Green Lantern was both stupid AND boring. Unforgivable. Thor showed that it is possible to take a ridiculous comic book story and make it work on-screen. Kenneth Branagh did his job well.

Green Lantern was alright as far as summer blockbusters go. The movie was loud, flashy, but did not provide much else in terms of entertainment. I think the movie tried pretty hard to copy the formula for Iron Man, and wound up feeling stale. Thor, on the other hand, had a superb cast, terrific design and visuals, and a great director. Even though the story in Thor wasn't the greatest, the movie was still fun. Hands down, Thor wins.
No contest. Green Lantern wished it could be half as good as Thor. Marvel just continues to deliver...

Well said Egant. Marvel does continue to deliver every time out. Thor is an amazing film. Green Lantern is a waste of film. Such a big difference to say the least.
Thor easily. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes, if there is a sequel to Green Lantern.

Thor wins, but Green Lantern was pretty good too. At least better than many people give it credit for anyway.
