Honestly really disliked both of them haha. But The Theory of Everything wins by a little, pretty much because of Redmayne's phenomenal performance.

Inherent was a more challenging film to get right but Theory of Everything was a more satisfying and emotionally involving film with magical performances.

I didn't care for The Theory of Everything. It's flat, boring, unimaginitive and all it really seems to want to do is win Oscars, which I can't stand. Inherent Vice, on the other hand, is an absurd, spectacular and gleefully complex story that's thrilling to follow. There's no contest, as far as I'm concerned.
I really enjoy both but Theory of Everything was much better done.

Though Redmayne was great in The Theory of Everything, it wasn't that special or memorable. Inherent Vice.
