Gigi vs. An American in Paris

Two movie musicals set in Paris, starring Leslie Caron and directed by Vincente Minnelli. Gigi benefits from some on-location shooting, but Caron doesn't get to dance, and "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" is even creepier IMHO than Kelly's stalking of her in An American in Paris. I'll take the earlier film here, for the ballet if nothing else.
