Tales starts off promising but falls short Howls is a better film overall fun and creative

Earthsea could've easily been a better movie. They should have awaited Hayao's availability. As it is, it's still visually gorgeous and mildly entertaining. It's kinda plotless, though, and the story itself isn't really well-developed. Howl's Moving Castle might be one of Miyazaki Sr's "weakest", but it's still pretty great a watch. It had a formidable group of characters and the usually gorgeous visuals. Just really the easy pick here.
