The Game every time. Fucking fight club...

Have to go with the Fight Club here. The Game is an awesome vehicle for Michael Douglas, but Fight Club has great performances of Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Meat Loaf of all people.

Do not underestimate The Game. It's awesome. But Fight Ckub wins this one just on the extremely effed-up story.

The Game.
The Game is okay, but the ending completely ruins the film. For one thing, it negates the danger that was felt throughout- basically telling us that he was never in any trouble whatsoever. Secondly, I hate this Hollywood-manufactured idea that putting a jerk through a bunch of crap somehow makes them a better person. This is also made clear at the end- Michael Douglas's character makes the transition from smarmy asshole to pleasant guy by the end of the film (Even managing to hook up with the girl at the end!). Other than all that, I guess I'd give it 3/5 or 2.5/5 just because of its tension and its general twistiness. Oh, and in case you haven't already guessed, Fight Club wins for me.
The Game is such a smart, twisty thriller...extremely unique. It gets the edge here...

Boonmee said it best. The ending of The Game is shit. Without the ending, it's an 8/10. WITH the ending, it´s a 5/10. Fight Club has a pretty headscratching ending as well (at least in my opinion), but it's not as stupid or impossible as The Game's ending. Fight Club wins with ease.
