Even knowing where both were going all along, I was sucked into each of them. "12 Angry Men" appeals to my intellect; "Slumdog Millionaire" to my heart. I root for Juror #8 to triumph over pettiness as strongly as I root for Jamal and Latika to finally be together. I must ultimately choose "12 Angry Men," for its impact on me as an adolescent was unique in informing my values and my perspective on them.
