I'm not a huge fan of saving private ryan so I'll give this one to 2001 it's an amazing piece of cinema

2001 was a good experience, especially when I watched it for the first time on blu-ray and a surround system, but there were some moments where I was just like, WHAT IS GOING ON? I think it's only good for the first time you watch. Saving Private Ryan was great. SPR wins

Private Ryan to me was more of an experience than a movie. Can't quite say the same about 2001.

The D Day scene in Private Ryan is brilliant, but 2001 shows Stanley Kubrick at his best. Have to go with 2001

Saving Private Ryan is a fantastic movie experience. 2001 is a great movie but it has no re watch value.
