Well, these are two movies with Uschi Digard in them. That both flirt with insanity. The Beauties and the Beast is more incompetent, but somehow entertaining. The Toy Box has the better Uschi performance by far. In fact, the scene where the ghost bed molests her is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. So good that I convinced myself that the rest of The Toy Box is good, too. Which is not exactly true. The Beauties and the Beast is actually so bad that it approaches surreal. The Toy Box never quite attains the same effect, but rather starts to become irritating.
