You want to see a literal, hand-to-hand brawl between good and evil? Watch Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare. Unlike The Exorcist, it's not two grown men shouting at a foul mouthed pre-teen girl. A guy actually wrestles Satan, which alone should make Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare one of the great horror films. Instead, it may be the dorkiest movie involving (hair) heavy metal music I've ever seen. The Exorcist isn't as great as I once thought it was, but I still like the movie. Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare is one of those truly terrible films that intertwines awfulness and so-bad-it's-good-ness so tightly, I can't decide what to make of it.
