The Matrix gets sillier each time I watch it. The Terminator always seemed silly, so now it just gets more entertaining with each viewing.

The Terminator movie series did a lot better than The Matrix. But in my opinion the first Terminator was good but a little slow. While the first (and only) Matrix was very good and a great Sc-Fi movie.

The Matrix is the Terminator of the new generation(2000's) Got to go with Terminator its great on so many levels without the CGI and without it there would be no matrix!

Both are original. Terminator is the easy winner though. It was the start of Arnold's fantastic career and the peak of Reeves.

both movies have VFXs that haven't aged well I liked the premise of the terminator more.
