Craven's two best in my opinion

Two very good horror films. I prefer Scream though, since it manages to add a couple of laughs without being ridiculous.

Two great films by Craven. A tough choice but I think Scream edges it due to it being more believable than NOES but as a fantasy horror Franks holds high rank.

Craven's two masterpieces and I love both of them, but as far as which movie I'd rather watch again and again and again and love it each time and find something new in every viewing, it goes to Scream.

Agreed, Craven's two best. This is a really hard choice - I love Scream but it couldn't exist without Nightmare, which is genuinely inventive and really scared me.

Scream was like the Pulp Fiction of horror movies in the 90's. Something new, refreshing, something that hadn't been done before. Normally I'm the kind of guy who sees a lopsided vote and tends to side with the neglected movie, and although Freddy is miles better than Billy and Stu, Scream hits closer to home with me.
