Crossroads vs. Coyote Ugly

Both are showbiz dramas about people trying to go after their dreams. I think Coyote Ugly wins for being better focused, avoiding the whole road trip angle and some creative choices made in regards to the plot. Interestingly enough both movies also feature an extensive performance of the main character performing the lead single off the soundtrack, but that's neither here nor there.
